古琴，又称七弦琴，至少有三千年历史，是中国古代地位最崇高的乐器。山东省诸城市是诸城琴派的故乡，诸城派古琴艺术又称“琅琊派古琴”，形成于19世纪中叶，经几代琴家的探索发展，逐渐形成了一个具有鲜明艺术个性和特定曲目传谱的古琴流派。

　　Guqin, a seven-stringed plucked instrument in some ways similar to the zither，with a history of at least three thousand years, is the most revered instrument of ancient China.Zhucheng City in Shandong Province is the hometown of Zhucheng Guqin.The mid-19th century saw the emergence of the Zhucheng Guqin, also referred to as the Langya-style Guqin.It eventually developed into a distinctive style of Guqin playing with unique artistic features and a particular repertoire of pieces after numerous generations of exploration by Guqin masters.

　　古琴音域宽广，音色深沉，余音悠远，一声入耳，万事离心。2008年6月，诸城派古琴入选国家级非物质文化遗产保护名录。诸城派古琴代表人物有王溥长、王雩门等，其中，有人曾在北京大学等高校担任古琴导师，使诸城派的影响遍及全国，甚至远播海外。

　　Guqin possesses a wide range of notes, a deep and profound tone, and a lingering resonance that, with a single note, may transport listeners away from their earthly cares.In June 2008, the Zhucheng Guqin was included in the listof National Intangible Cultural Heritage.The representatives of Zhucheng Guqin include Wang Puchang, Wang Yumen,etc. The Zhucheng Style has spread throughout the nation and even abroad thanks to some of these personalities who have taught guqin at major institutes like Peking University.

　　诸城派古琴的艺术风格刚中带韧，密中见疏，实中有虚，一气流转，重而不滞，显示出空灵回荡的古典之美。其琴谱划分节奏并附有简谱，节奏固定，《长门怨》、《秋风词》、《关山月》等是诸城派独有的演奏曲目。

　　The artistic style of the Zhucheng Guqin is characterized by a balance between firmness and flexibility, with a combination of density and sparseness, and a seamless flow between realistic and surreal moods. It exemplifies a sense of classical beauty, with a resonating and airy character that is both hefty and unhindered.Zhucheng Guqin has a fixed rhythm and is accompanied by simplified notation in its music scores. Its repertoire includes works such as “Changmen Yuan”, “Qiu Feng Ci”, and “Guan Shan Yue”.

　　如今，诸城派古琴的传承人们一直坚持心中信仰，将传承传统文化视为己任。诸城派古琴曾经走进过北京大学、济南大学和齐鲁师范学院等高等学府；诸城派古琴成功申报了国家艺术基金资助项目；诸城本土古琴音乐会、古琴雅集、公益培训讲座、交流会、比赛等活动精彩纷呈。相信在当地政府和传承人们的努力下，这赓续百年的天籁之音将在齐鲁大地上继续传承、流淌。

　　Today, the Zhucheng Guqin's inheritors maintain their belief and see it as their duty to pass on the tradition and cultural heritage.Zhucheng Guqin has been introduced to higher education institutions such as Peking University, University of Jinan, and Qilu Normal University. It has also been granted financing from the National Art Fund. Guqin music concerts, gatherings, public training lectures, exchange meetings, and contests have also been held to promote and display the art of Zhucheng Guqin.It is hoped that through the efforts of the local administration and inheritors, this century-old heavenly music may be carried down and flourish in the land of Qilu.
