The AFC gave high marks to the Chinese footballer, saying he is "the most lethal weapon in the vast Chinese arsenal."
Wang, who plays for Shandong Luneng, succeeded in delivering a commanding performance at the 2006 AFC Youth Championship.
The top scorer contributed three goals for China in the team's four matches in the Asian tournament.
China, who lost to Jordan 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the championship, failed to advance to next year's FIFA U-20 World Cup. |
