A rooster in Zaozhuang, Shandong, helped local police to trace down a group of thieves.

The thieves were constantly stealing things from the area around the residence of the rooster's owner, surnamed Wu.

A week ago, when they sneaked into Wu's home, the rooster attacked one of the potential thieves and hurt his right eye. Wu saw the robbers and called the police

Local police arrested the thief in a clinic when he was seeking treatment.

The thief told the location of his three partners, and all have been arrested.
