Four traditional Chinese paintings "one hundred monkeys", which were drawn by a Jinan girl Hou Yaxi, were sent to FIFA and AFC by Asian Cup Organizing Committee as special presents at Beijing Great Wall Sheraton Hotel on August 8, 2004.
On August 7, Hou Yaxi was invited to Beijing and was warmly received by AFC president Mohamed Bin Hamman, AFC General Secretary Peter Velappan and Chinese Football Association vice-president, AFC vice-president Zhang Jilong.
In reception ceremony, Hou Yaxi sent four Chinese paintings "one hundred monkeys" to Mohamed Bin Hammam , Peter Velappan and Chinese Football Association respectively. One of them will be sent to Joseph S. Blatter, president of FIFA by Zhang Jilong.
Hou Yaxi is a junior middle school girl in Jinan Dianliu Middle School. At the age of 11, she drew "one hundred monkeys" in order to support Beijing's application for hosting the 2008 Olympic games. She also succeeded in holding the personal exhibition of paintings at the same year.
